I can't send and receive picture messages on my Apple iPhone SE (2020) iOS 17

Cause 4 of 4: The phone has not been correctly set up for MMS

To send and receive picture messages, your phone needs to be correctly set up for picture messaging.

Solution: Set up your phone for picture messaging.

Step 1 of 4

Turn picture messaging on or off

Press Settings.

Step 2 of 4

Turn picture messaging on or off

Press Messages.

Step 3 of 4

Turn picture messaging on or off

Press the indicator next to "MMS Messaging" to turn on the function.

Step 4 of 4

Return to the home screen

Press the Home key to return to the home screen.

1 Turn picture messaging on or off

Press Settings.
Press Messages.
Press the indicator next to "MMS Messaging" to turn on the function.

2 Return to the home screen

Press the Home key to return to the home screen.
