Turn GPS on or off - BlackBerry Z30

Your phone can determine your geographical position using GPS (Global Positioning System). The information about your location can be used by a number of applications on your phone such as navigation, the search function or weather forecast.

Find "Location Services"

Slide your finger down the display starting from the top edge of your phone.
Press Settings.

Find "Location Services"

Press Location Services.

Turn GPS on or off

Press the indicator next to "Location Services" to turn the function on or off.

Turn use of GPS position for apps on or off

Press Go to application permissions to set the location permissions for inidividual applications.

Press the drop down list below "Permissions".

Press All.

Return to the home screen

Slide your finger up the display starting from the bottom edge of your phone to return to the home screen.

Find "Location Services"

Slide your finger down the display starting from the top edge of your phone.
Press Settings.
Press Location Services.

Turn GPS on or off

Press the indicator next to "Location Services" to turn the function on or off.

Turn use of GPS position for apps on or off

Press Go to application permissions to set the location permissions for inidividual applications.
Press the drop down list below "Permissions".
Press All.
Press the required app.
Press the indicator next to "Location" to turn the function on or off.

Return to the home screen

Slide your finger up the display starting from the bottom edge of your phone to return to the home screen.
