Install USB modem
In order to set up a data connection on your computer and establish a connection to the internet using your USB modem, you need to install your USB modem. Follow these instructions to install your USB modem.
You need a Vodafone SIM before you can install your USB modem.

Insert your SIM
Turn the front of your USB modem towards you.
Slide the cover downwards and remove it.
Place your SIM as shown in the SIM holder and slide your SIM into the holder.
Place the cover on your USB modem with ½ cm opening at the top and slide the cover upwards.
Connect your USB modem and your computer
Connect your USB modem to your computer's USB port.
Start the USB modem application
Do the following in Leopard:
Double-click Vodafone Mobile Broadband.
Click the drop down list below Select the mobile network operator with whom you have an account, and then click 'Continue'.
Highlight your operator and click Continue.
Accept license agreement
End the installation
If you're on a pay monthly price plan:
Highlight Bill pay.
If you're on a prepaid price plan:
Highlight Pay as you go.
Key in your username and password for the computer and click OK.
Wait while your USB modem is installed.
Key in your PIN and click OK.
If an incorrect PIN is entered three times in a row, your SIM will be blocked. To unblock your SIM, you'll need to key in your PUK. The PUK can be obtained by contacting customer services.
If the wrong PUK is entered ten times in a row, your SIM will be blocked permanently. In this case, you need a new SIM from your operator.
