Set up your phone for web-based email
You can send and retrieve email messages from a web-based email account, such as Hotmail, Yahoo! Mail and Gmail. Follow these instructions to set up your phone for web-based email.
Before you can set up your phone for web-based email, you need an account with the required email provider. If you don't have an account, you can set one up on the web page of the email provider.
Please note that the steps below are based on a web-based email account. If you have a POP3 email account, you need to use the settings for POP3 email. Click here for information on how to the set up your phone for POP3 email.
To send and receive email messages, you need an internet connection. Your phone automatically receives the necessary settings to connect to the internet. If it's not possible, you can set up your phone manually. Click here for information on how to set up your phone for internet.

Find "email + accounts"
Press arrow right to access the main menu.
Press email + accounts.
Create new email account
Press add an account.
Press the required provider.
Enter email address
Press the field below Email address and key in your email address (such as firstname.lastname@example.org).
Press the field below Password and key in the password for your email account.
Activate email account
Press sign in.
Wait while the email account is activated.
Edit email account settings
Press the email account you have just set up.
Enter email account name
Press the field below Account name and key in a name for your email account.
Select setting for retrieving new email messages
Press the field below Download new content.
Press the required period or manually.
Select time for retrieving email messages
Press the field below Download email from.
Press the required period or any time.
Select data types
Press Email, Contacts and Calendar to turn synchronisation of each data type on or off.
When the box next to the menu item is ticked (V), synchronisation for the required data type is turned on.
Save and exit
Press the confirm icon.
Press the Home key to return to standby mode.
