Use Twitter

Twitter is a social network allowing you to write your own and read others' status updates in messages not exceeding 140 characters. The status updates are displayed in your profile and are received by people who follow you. You decide who you want to receive status updates from. Follow these instructions to use the Twitter application.
Before you can use Twitter, you need a Twitter profile. If you don't have a Twitter profile, you can create one at

If you don't want to use the Twitter application, you can use your phone's browser: open the browser and connect to

Please select the red text to see instructional images.

Find "Social"
Press the Menu key.
Press Social.
Log on
If you have previously added a social network:
Press Add social network.
Press Twitter.
If it's the first time you use the application, you need to log on to Twitter.
Use Twitter
If required, press the Twitter icon.
Follow these instructions to use Twitter.
Write status update
Press the home icon.
Press What's happening?.
Press the text input field and key in the required status update.
Press Tweet.
View friends' status updates
Press the home icon.
You can find the status of your friends next to their names.
Read replies
Press the reply icon.
Read mentions to your status updates.
Read private messages
Press the messages icon.
Write message to friend
Press the messages icon.
Press Compose.
Press Add Friend to select a recipient.
Press the required friend.
Press the text input field and key in the required text.
Press Send.
Upload picture to Twitter
Press the home icon.
Press the camera icon.
To upload a saved picture:
Press Photo(s) from Gallery.
Press the required picture.
When a picture is ticked (V), it's selected.
Press the confirm icon.
To upload a new picture:
Press Photo from Camera.
Point the camera lens at the required object.
Press the Camera key to take the picture.
Press the confirm icon.
If required, press Add a caption to add text to the picture.
Write the text.
Press Upload.
Press the Menu key to return to standby mode.
