Follow these instructions to write and send an iMessage.
In order to send an iMessage you need to set up your device for iMessaging. Click here for information on how to set up your device for iMessaging.

Press Messages.

Press Messages.

Press the new message icon.

Key in the first letters of the required contact.Matching contacts are displayed.Press the required contact.

Key in the first letters of the required contact.
Matching contacts are displayed.
Press the required contact.

iMessages can be sent to phone numbers or email addresses if the recipient has iOS5 installed on his/her device.
Press the text input field.Write the text for your iMessage.

Press the text input field.

Press the camera icon.

Press the camera icon.

Press Choose Existing.Go to the required folder.

Press the Home key to return to standby mode.

Press Messages.
Press the new message icon.

Press the Home key to return to standby mode.
