I can't send and receive iMessages on my Apple iPad (9th Generation) iPadOS 15.2

Cause 2 of 4: There are problems activating iMessage

The first time you activate iMessage, it may take a while before the activation is completed.

Solution: Turn off iMessages and try setting up your tablet for iMessaging again after some time.

Press Settings.

Turn on sending of iMessages

Press the indicator next to "iMessage" to turn on the function.

Return to the home screen

Press the Home key to return to the home screen.
