I can't start my Apple iPad (9th Generation) iPadOS 18

Cause 1 of 7: The lock code is turned on

When the lock code is turned on, it needs to be entered every time you turn on your tablet.

Solution: Turn off the lock code.

Find "Touch ID & Passcode"

Press Settings.

Find "Touch ID & Passcode"

Press Touch ID & Passcode.

Turn on use of lock code

Press Turn Passcode On and key in a lock code of your own choice twice.

Turn deletion of data on or off

Press the indicator next to "Erase Data" to turn the function on or off.

Turn deletion of data on or off

If you turn on the function, press Enable.

Turn off use of lock code

Press Turn Passcode Off and key in the lock code.

Return to the home screen

Press the Home key to return to the home screen.

5 Return to the home screen

Press the Home key to return to the home screen.
