Change phone lock code - BlackBerry 8520 Curve

If the phone lock code is turned on, it needs to be keyed in when you turn on your phone. Follow these instructions to change the phone lock code.
You need to turn on use of phone lock code before you can change it. Click here for information on how to turn on use of phone lock code.

Find "Change Password"

Press the Menu key.

Find "Change Password"

Scroll to Options and press the Navigation key.

Find "Change Password"

Scroll to Password and press the Navigation key.

Find "Change Password"

Scroll to Change Password and press the Navigation key.

Change the phone lock code

Key in your current phone lock code and press the Navigation key.

Change the phone lock code

Key in a new phone lock code and press the Navigation key.

Step 7 of 8

Change the phone lock code

Key in the new phone lock code again and press the Navigation key.

Step 8 of 8

Exit

Press Disconnect to return to standby mode.

Press the Menu key.
Scroll to Options and press the Navigation key.
Scroll to Password and press the Navigation key.
Scroll to Change Password and press the Navigation key.

Change the phone lock code

Key in your current phone lock code and press the Navigation key.
Key in a new phone lock code and press the Navigation key.
Key in the new phone lock code again and press the Navigation key.

Exit

Press Disconnect to return to standby mode.
