Change phone lock code - BlackBerry 9800 Slider

If the phone lock code is turned on, it needs to be keyed in when you turn on your phone. Follow these instructions to change the phone lock code.
You need to turn on use of phone lock code before you can change it. Click here for more information.

Step 1 of 10

Find "Password"

Press the Menu key twice.

Find "Password"

Press Options.

Step 3 of 10

Find "Password"

Press Security.

Step 4 of 10

Find "Password"

Press Password.

Change phone lock code

Press Change Password.

Step 6 of 10

Change phone lock code

Key in the current phone lock code and press Enter.

Change phone lock code

Key in a new phone lock code and press Enter.

Step 8 of 10

Change phone lock code

Key in the new phone lock code again and press Enter.

Step 9 of 10

Exit

Press Disconnect.

Step 10 of 10

Exit

Press the Return key to return to standby mode.

Press Password.

Change phone lock code

Press Change Password.
Key in the current phone lock code and press Enter.
Key in a new phone lock code and press Enter.
Key in the new phone lock code again and press Enter.

Exit

Press Disconnect.
Press the Return key to return to standby mode.
