Turn use of PIN on or off - BlackBerry Z10

Your PIN protects your SIM from unauthorised use. If use of PIN is turned on, it needs to be keyed in when you turn on your phone. Follow these instructions to turn use of PIN on or off.

Find "SIM Card"

Slide your finger down the display starting from the top edge of your phone.
Press Settings.

Press Security and Privacy.

Press SIM Card.

Turn use of PIN on or off

Press the indicator next to SIM Card PIN Lock.

If an incorrect PIN is entered three times in a row, your SIM will be blocked. To unblock your SIM, you'll need to key in your PUK. The PUK can be obtained by contacting customer services.
Please note:
If the wrong PUK is entered ten times in a row, your SIM will be blocked permanently. In this case, you need a new SIM from Vodafone.

Turn use of PIN on or off

Key in your PIN and press OK.
Depending on the current setting, your PIN is turned on or off.

If an incorrect PIN is entered three times in a row, your SIM will be blocked. To unblock your SIM, you'll need to key in your PUK. The PUK can be obtained by contacting customer services.
Please note:
If the wrong PUK is entered ten times in a row, your SIM will be blocked permanently. In this case, you need a new SIM from Vodafone.

Exit

Slide your finger up the display starting from the bottom edge of your phone to return to standby mode.

Find "SIM Card"

Slide your finger down the display starting from the top edge of your phone.
Press Settings.
Press Security and Privacy.
Press SIM Card.
