Use GPS navigation in Google Maps - HTC EVO 3D

You can use GPS to navigate from one location to another. Follow these instructions to use GPS navigation in Google Maps.
You need to turn on GPS to use this function. Click here for more information.

You also need to set up your phone for internet. Click here for more information.

Please note that when you use Google Maps, data charges will apply. Check your price plan for applicable charges.

Find "Navigation"

Press the menu icon.

Find "Navigation"

Press Navigation.

Plan route and start navigation

Press one of the following search options:
Type Destination, go to 2a.

Contacts, go to 2b.

Starred Places, go to 2c.

Key in the required destination.
Results matching what you key in are displayed.
Press the required destination.

Press the required contact.

Press the required destination.

Use GPS navigation in Google Maps

The navigation window with information about your route is displayed.
The next turn and the next route detail are displayed at the top of the display.

Use GPS navigation in Google Maps

The travel time and your current position are displayed at the bottom of the display.
Follow the verbal instructions or the instructions on the display to go to the selected destination.

Exit

Press the Menu key.

Press Exit Navigation.

Press the Home key to return to standby mode.
