Copy contacts between your SIM and your phone - HTC One X

You can copy contacts between your SIM and your phone. This is useful if you change SIM or phone, as it saves you from keying in all the information again. Follow these instructions to copy contacts between your SIM and your phone.

Press the menu icon.

Find "Import/Export contacts"

Press the menu icon.

Press People.

Press People.

Press Menu.

Press Menu.

Press Manage contacts.

Press Manage contacts.

Press Import/Export contacts.

Choose option

Choose one of the following options:
Copy contacts from your SIM to your phone, go to 2a.
Copy contacts from your phone to your SIM, go to 2b.

Press Import from SIM card.

Press Import from SIM card.

Press Phone.

Press Select all.

Press Save.

Press Export to SIM card.

Press Export to SIM card.

Press Select all.

Press the Home key to return to standby mode.

Exit

Press the Home key to return to standby mode.

Find "Import/Export contacts"

Press the menu icon.
Press People.
Press Menu.
Press Manage contacts.
Press Import/Export contacts.

Choose option

Choose one of the following options:
Copy contacts from your SIM to your phone, go to 2a.
Copy contacts from your phone to your SIM, go to 2b.
HTC One X

2a - Copy contacts from your SIM to your phone

Press Import from SIM card.
Press Phone.
Press Select all.
Press Save.

2b - Copy contacts from your phone to your SIM

Press Export to SIM card.
Press Select all.
Press Save.

Exit

Press the Home key to return to standby mode.
