Copy contacts between your SIM and your phone - HTC Sensation XL

You can copy contacts between your SIM and your phone. This is useful if you change SIM or phone, as it saves you from keying in all the information again. Follow these instructions to copy contacts between your SIM and your phone.

Press All apps.

Find "Import/Export"

Press All apps.

Press People.

Find "Import/Export"

Press People.

Press the Menu key.

Find "Import/Export"

Press the Menu key.

Press Import/Export.

Choose option

Choose one of the following options:
Copy contacts from your SIM to your phone, go to 2a.
Copy contacts from your phone to your SIM, go to 2b.

Press Import from SIM card.

2a - Copy contacts from your SIM to your phone

Press Import from SIM card.

Press the required phone book, if required.

Press the required phone book, if required.

Press Select all.

Press Select all.

When the box next to a contact is ticked (V), the contact is selected.

Press Save.

Press Export to SIM card.

Press Export to SIM card.

Press Select all.

When the box next to a contact is ticked (V), the contact is selected.

Press Save.

Press Save.

Press the Home key to return to standby mode.

Exit

Press the Home key to return to standby mode.

Find "Import/Export"

Press All apps.
Press People.
Press the Menu key.
Press Import/Export.

Choose option

Choose one of the following options:
Copy contacts from your SIM to your phone, go to 2a.
Copy contacts from your phone to your SIM, go to 2b.

2a - Copy contacts from your SIM to your phone

Press Import from SIM card.
Press the required phone book, if required.
Press Select all.
When the box next to a contact is ticked (V), the contact is selected.
Press Save.

2b - Copy contacts from your phone to your SIM

Press Export to SIM card.
Press Select all.
When the box next to a contact is ticked (V), the contact is selected.
Press Save.

Exit

Press the Home key to return to standby mode.
