Cause 5 of 5: The phone has not been correctly set up for picture messaging

If your phone hasn't been correctly set up for picture messaging, you can't send and receive picture messages.

Solution: Set up your phone for picture messaging.

Step 1 of 12

Find "add MMS APN"

Slide your finger down the display starting from the top edge of your phone.
Press ALL SETTINGS.

Find "add MMS APN"

Press mobile+SIM.

Step 3 of 12

Find "add MMS APN"

Press SIM settings.

Step 4 of 12

Find "add MMS APN"

Press add MMS APN.

Enter APN

Press the field below "APN".
Key in live.vodafone.com

Step 6 of 12

Select authentication type

Press the field below "Authentication type".

Step 7 of 12

Select authentication type

Press PAP.

Step 8 of 12

Enter IP address

Press the field below "WAP gateway (URL)" and key in 10.202.2.60

Step 9 of 12

Enter incoming port

Press the field below "WAP gateway port" and key in 8080

Step 10 of 12

Enter picture messaging server

Press the field below "MMSC (URL)" and key in http://pxt.vodafone.net.au/pxtsend

Save data connection

Press the save icon.

Return to the home screen

Press the home icon to return to the home screen.

1 Find "add MMS APN"

2 Enter APN

Press the field below "APN".
Key in live.vodafone.com

3 Select authentication type

Press the field below "Authentication type".
Press PAP.

4 Enter IP address

Press the field below "WAP gateway (URL)" and key in 10.202.2.60

5 Enter incoming port

Press the field below "WAP gateway port" and key in 8080

6 Enter picture messaging server

Press the field below "MMSC (URL)" and key in http://pxt.vodafone.net.au/pxtsend

7 Save data connection

Press the save icon.

8 Return to the home screen

Press the home icon to return to the home screen.
