I can't use Wi-Fi - Microsoft Lumia 640

Cause 3 of 6: No connection to a Wi-Fi network is established

You can't access the internet using a Wi-Fi network if you aren't connected to a Wi-Fi network.

Solution: Connect to Wi-Fi network.

Step 1 of 6

Find "WiFi"

Slide your finger down the display starting from the top edge of your phone.
Press ALL SETTINGS.

Step 2 of 6

Find "WiFi"

Press WiFi.

Step 3 of 6

Turn on Wi-Fi

Press the indicator next to "WiFi networking" until the function is turned on.

Step 4 of 6

Connect to Wi-Fi network

A list of Wi-Fi networks within range is displayed.
Press the required Wi-Fi network.

Step 5 of 6

Connect to Wi-Fi network

Follow the instructions on the display to key in security settings, if required, and press done.

Return to the home screen

Press the home icon to return to the home screen.

1 Find "WiFi"

4 Return to the home screen

Press the home icon to return to the home screen.
