Slide your finger downwards starting from the top of the screen.

Find "Security & location"

Press the settings icon.

Find "Security & location"

Press Security & location.

Create phone lock code using a fingerprint

Press Fingerprint.

Create phone lock code using a fingerprint

Press SET UP SCREEN LOCK and follow the instructions on the screen to create an additional phone lock code.

Create phone lock code using a fingerprint

Key in the phone lock code and press Add fingerprint.

Create phone lock code using a fingerprint

Press CONTINUE and follow the instructions on the screen to add your fingerprint.

Create phone lock code using a fingerprint

Press DONE.

Return to the home screen

Press the Home key to return to the home screen.

Turn off use of phone lock code

Slide your finger downwards starting from the top of the screen.

Turn off use of phone lock code

Press the settings icon.

Turn off use of phone lock code

Press Security & location.

Turn off use of phone lock code

Press Screen lock and key in the current phone lock code.

Turn off use of phone lock code

Press None.

Turn off use of phone lock code

Press YES, REMOVE.

Return to the home screen

Press the Home key to return to the home screen.
