Choose Bluetooth settings - Nokia E7

Bluetooth is a wireless connection which can be used to transfer files between two devices or to establish a connection to other devices, such as a wireless headset or keypad. Follow these instructions to select Bluetooth settings.

Press the Menu key.

Press Settings.

Choose option

Choose one of the following options:
Turn Bluetooth visibility on or off, go to 2a.
Enter Bluetooth name, go to 2b.

Press My phone's visibility.

Press My phone's visibility.

Press Shown to all, Set visibility period or Hidden.

If you select Set visibility period:

If required, press Yes to turn on Bluetooth.

Drag the indicator to select the required period.

Press OK.

Press My phone's name.

2b - Enter Bluetooth name

Press My phone's name.

The name you give your phone will be shown to other Bluetooth devices.
Key in the required name and press OK.

Key in the required name and press OK.

The name you give your phone will be shown to other Bluetooth devices.
Press the Menu key to return to standby mode.

Exit

Press the Menu key to return to standby mode.

Find "Bluetooth"

Press the Menu key.
Press Settings.
Press Connectivity.
Press Bluetooth.

Choose option

Choose one of the following options:
Turn Bluetooth visibility on or off, go to 2a.
Enter Bluetooth name, go to 2b.

2a - Turn Bluetooth visibility on or off

Press My phone's visibility.
Press Shown to all, Set visibility period or Hidden.
If you select Set visibility period:
If required, press Yes to turn on Bluetooth.
Drag the indicator to select the required period.
Press OK.

2b - Enter Bluetooth name

Press My phone's name.
The name you give your phone will be shown to other Bluetooth devices.
Key in the required name and press OK.
The name you give your phone will be shown to other Bluetooth devices.

Exit

Press the Menu key to return to standby mode.
