Choose network - Nokia N700

When you turn on your phone, it will automatically choose a network within range. Sometimes though, it might be useful to choose your network manually for example when you're abroad where different networks are available (depending on which operators Vodafone has roaming agreements with). Follow these instructions to choose a network.

Press the Menu key.

Find "Operator selection"

Press the Menu key.

Press Settings.

Press Connectivity.

Press Network.

Choose one of the following options:
Select network manually, go to 2a.
Select network automatically, go to 2b.

Press Manual.Your phone searches for networks within range.A list of available networks will show on your display.

Press Manual.
Your phone searches for networks within range.
A list of available networks will show on your display.

If you're out of range of the selected network, your phone won't work.
Press the required network.Your display will tell you if you've access to the network you've chosen.

Press Automatic.

2b - Select network automatically

Press Automatic.

Press the Menu key to return to standby mode.

Exit

Press the Menu key to return to standby mode.

Find "Operator selection"

Press the Menu key.
Press Settings.
Press Connectivity.
Press Network.
Press Operator selection.

Choose option

Choose one of the following options:
Select network manually, go to 2a.
Select network automatically, go to 2b.

Press Manual.
Your phone searches for networks within range.
A list of available networks will show on your display.

Press the required network.

2b - Select network automatically

Press Automatic.

Exit

Press the Menu key to return to standby mode.
