Cause 3 of 10: An incorrect PIN is entered

Your PIN is used to protect your SIM from unauthorised use. If an incorrect PIN is entered, you can't turn on your phone.

Solution: Enter the correct PIN. If you enter a wrong PIN three times in a row, your SIM is blocked and you need to key in your PUK. To obtain the PUK, log on to My Vodafone.

Turn on your phone

Press On/Off until your phone is turned on.

Step 2 of 5

Enter PIN

Key in your PIN and press OK.
If your phone rejects the SIM:
Contact your distributor or service provider where you bought your phone.

Turn off your phone

Press and hold On/Off.

Press Power off.

Turn off your phone

Press Power off.

1 Turn on your phone

Press On/Off until your phone is turned on.

2 Enter PIN

Key in your PIN and press OK.
If your phone rejects the SIM:
Contact your distributor or service provider where you bought your phone.

3 Turn off your phone

Press and hold On/Off.
Press Power off.
Press Power off.
