If you retrieve your contacts from various social networks or email accounts and add them to your phone's phone book, the same contact may be displayed more than once. You can merge identical contacts so that they will appear only once. Follow these instructions to merge identical contacts.

Step 1 of 11

Find "Edit"

Press the menu icon.

Press People.

Find "Edit"

Press the second tab.

Press the required contact.

Press the settings icon.

Press Edit.

Press the settings icon.

Press Join.

If no suggestions are displayed:
Press Show all contacts.

Press the required contact.
Repeat this step to merge more contacts.

Exit

Press the Home key to return to standby mode.

Find "Edit"

Press the menu icon.
Press People.

Press the settings icon.
Press Join.
If no suggestions are displayed:
Press Show all contacts.
Press the required contact.
Repeat this step to merge more contacts.

Exit

Press the Home key to return to standby mode.
