I can't make voice calls - Samsung Galaxy S5

Cause 4 of 9: Your phone is set to connect to 3G networks only.

If your phone is set to connect to 3G networks only, it can't find a network if you're in an area with poor or no 3G network coverage.

Solution: Change network mode to allow your phone to connect to both 2G and 3G networks.

Slide your finger down the display starting from the top edge of your phone.
Press the settings icon.

Press More networks.

Press Mobile networks.

Select network mode

Press LTE/WCDMA/GSM (auto connect), WCDMA/GSM (auto connect), WCDMA only or GSM only.

Return to the home screen

Press the Home key to return to the home screen.
