Insert SIM and battery - Samsung Nexus S

Before you can start using your phone, you need to insert your SIM and battery. Follow these instructions to insert your SIM and battery.
You need to turn off your phone before you insert your SIM and battery.

Remove the back cover

Turn the back of your phone towards you.
Take hold of the top of the back cover and remove it.

Remove the battery

Take hold of the top right side of the battery and remove it.

Insert your SIM

Place your SIM in the SIM holder.
Slide your SIM into the SIM holder.

Insert battery

Place the battery in your phone (left side first), matching the battery contacts with the phone contacts, and press the battery into place.

Replace the back cover

Place the back cover on your phone, matching the back cover teeth with the slots in your phone.
Press the back cover into place.

Remove the back cover

Turn the back of your phone towards you.
Take hold of the top of the back cover and remove it.

Remove the battery

Take hold of the top right side of the battery and remove it.

Insert your SIM

Place your SIM in the SIM holder.
Slide your SIM into the SIM holder.

Insert battery

Place the battery in your phone (left side first), matching the battery contacts with the phone contacts, and press the battery into place.

Replace the back cover

Place the back cover on your phone, matching the back cover teeth with the slots in your phone.
Press the back cover into place.
