Use map functions in Google Maps - Sony Xperia Play

Google Maps is a GPS application you can use to navigate from one location to another. You can change between list view and street view and you can use Google Maps to find companies. You can use Google Maps using an application on your phone. Follow these instructions to use map functions in Google Maps.
You need to set up your phone for internet to use this function. Click here for information on how to set up your phone for internet.

If you don't want to use the Google Maps application, you can use your phone's browser: open the browser and connect to http://maps.google.com.

Find "Maps"

Press the menu icon.

Enter destination

Press the search field at the top of the display.
Key in the required destination.
Results matching what you key in are displayed.

You can also key in points of interest and contacts from the phone book.

Plan route

The selected destination is displayed as a point on the map.

Press the information field above the destination.

Press the Home key to return to standby mode.
