When you've restored the factory default settings, you need to activate your device. Follow these instructions to activate your device.

Turn on your device

Press and hold On/Off until your device is turned on.

If an incorrect PIN is entered three times in a row, your SIM will be blocked. To unblock your SIM, you'll need to key in your PUK. The PUK can be obtained by contacting customer services.

Please note:
If the wrong PUK is entered ten times in a row, your SIM will be blocked permanently. In this case, you need a new SIM from Vodafone.

Turn on your device

Drag the arrow right.

If an incorrect PIN is entered three times in a row, your SIM will be blocked. To unblock your SIM, you'll need to key in your PUK. The PUK can be obtained by contacting customer services.

Please note:
If the wrong PUK is entered ten times in a row, your SIM will be blocked permanently. In this case, you need a new SIM from Vodafone.

Turn on your device

Press Unlock.

If an incorrect PIN is entered three times in a row, your SIM will be blocked. To unblock your SIM, you'll need to key in your PUK. The PUK can be obtained by contacting customer services.

Key in your PIN and press OK.

To change language:
Press the required language.

Go to www.itunes.com on your computer.
Find the download section on the web page to download iTunes.
Download and install iTunes on your computer.
Press Connect to iTunes.

Press Continue.

Start the program iTunes on your computer.

Connect the data cable to the socket at the bottom of your device and to your computer's USB port.
Follow the instructions on the screen to select synchronisation settings.

Select Done.

Press the required Wi-Fi network or Other....
Follow the instructions on the display to connect to the required Wi-Fi network.

If it's the first time you use your device, select Set Up as New iPad.
If you've used the device before and want to restore the contents of your device, select Restore from iTunes Backup. You need to back up the device memory before you can select Restore from iTunes Backup. Click here for information on how to back up the memory.

Press Sign In with an Apple ID.

If it's the first time you use your device, select Set Up as New iPad.

Press Create a Free Apple ID.

Press Skip This Step.

Select general settings

Go to www.itunes.com on your computer.
Find the download section on the web page to download iTunes.
Download and install iTunes on your computer.
Press Connect to iTunes.
Press Continue.
