Your text messages can be sent as either regular text messages or iMessages. iMessages can be sent to phone numbers or email addresses if the recipient has a device which supports iMessages. Remember, you need to set up your tablet for iMessaging.

Create new iMessage

Press Messages.

Create new iMessage

Press the new message icon.

Select recipient

Key in the first letters of the required contact.
Matching contacts are displayed.
Press the required contact.

iMessages can be sent to phone numbers or email addresses if the recipient has a device which supports iMessages.

Write text

Press the text input field and write the required text.

Insert picture or video clip

Press the camera icon.

Insert picture or video clip

Press Choose Existing.
Go to the required folder.

Press Use.

Send iMessage

Press Send when you've written your iMessage.

Return to the home screen

Press the Home key to return to the home screen.

Create new iMessage

Press Messages.
Press the new message icon.
