Cause 6 of 9: You've turned on manual network selection and are out of range of the selected network

If you're trying to access the internet using the mobile network and you've turned on manual network selection, you need to be within range of the the selected network.

Solution: Turn on automatic network selection so that your tablet connects to a network automatically.

Find "Carrier"

Press Settings.

Select option

Select one of the following options:
Select network manually, go to 2a.
Select network automatically, go to 2b.

2a - Select network manually

Press the indicator next to Automatic to turn off automatic network selection.
Your device searches for networks within range.
A list of available networks will show on your display.

2a - Select network manually

Press the required network.
Your display will tell you if you've access to the network you've chosen.

2b - Select network automatically

Press the indicator next to Automatic to turn on automatic network selection.

Step 7 of 7

Save and exit

Press the Home key to return to standby mode.
