Prepare to Ship discharges your phone’s battery to below 20 Wh and sets a charging limit so that the phone remains below this limit during shipping. You need to turn on the function, e.g., if you send your phone in for repair, replacement, return or to another person. When the phone is reactivated, the restriction is removed and the battery’s full charging capacity will be available again. To turn on the function, you need to set up your phone for internet or establish a connection to a Wi-Fi network.

Press Other and wait while the function is turned on.

Press Other and wait while the function is turned on.

Select this option if you need to send your phone to another person. If you change your mind, follow the instructions on the screen to turn off the function.
Press Done.
