Turn data roaming on or off - BlackBerry 8520 Curve

You can deactivate data connections when roaming. Only text messages and calls are then available. This is useful if you want to avoid unintended data traffic when roaming. Follow these instructions to turn data roaming on or off.

Find "Mobile Network Options"

Press the Menu key.

Find "Mobile Network Options"

Scroll to Manage Connections and press the Navigation key.

Scroll to Mobile Network Options and press the Navigation key.

Turn data roaming on or off

Highlight the drop down list next to While Roaming and press the Navigation key.

Turn data roaming on or off

Highlight On or Off and press the Navigation key.

Step 6 of 6

Exit

Press Disconnect to return to standby mode.

Press the Menu key.
Scroll to Manage Connections and press the Navigation key.
Scroll to Mobile Network Options and press the Navigation key.

Turn data roaming on or off

Highlight the drop down list next to While Roaming and press the Navigation key.
Highlight On or Off and press the Navigation key.

Exit

Press Disconnect to return to standby mode.
