Turn use of PIN on or off - BlackBerry Curve 9320

Your PIN protects your SIM from unauthorised use. If use of PIN is turned on, it needs to be keyed in when you turn on your phone. Follow these instructions to turn use of PIN on or off.

Step 1 of 10

Find "SIM Card"

Press the Menu key twice.

Find "SIM Card"

Scroll to Options and press the Navigation key.

Scroll to Device and press the Navigation key.

Scroll to Advanced System Settings and press the Navigation key.

Scroll to SIM Card and press the Navigation key.

Turn use of PIN on or off

Press the Menu key.

If an incorrect PIN is entered three times in a row, your SIM will be blocked. To unblock your SIM, you'll need to key in your PUK. The PUK can be obtained by contacting customer services.

Please note:
If the wrong PUK is entered ten times in a row, your SIM will be blocked permanently. In this case, you need a new SIM from Vodafone.

Turn use of PIN on or off

Scroll to Enable Security or Disable Security (depending on the current setting) and press the Navigation key.

If an incorrect PIN is entered three times in a row, your SIM will be blocked. To unblock your SIM, you'll need to key in your PUK. The PUK can be obtained by contacting customer services.

Please note:
If the wrong PUK is entered ten times in a row, your SIM will be blocked permanently. In this case, you need a new SIM from Vodafone.

Key in your PIN and press the Navigation key.

Press Disconnect.

Press the Return key to return to standby mode.
