Choose settings for call barring - BlackBerry Curve 9320

You can select settings for call barring on your phone. Follow these instructions to select settings for call barring.

Find "Call Blocking"

Press Connect.

Press the Menu key.

Scroll to Options and press the Navigation key.

Choose option

Choose one of the following options:
Select settings for barring of incoming calls, go to 2a.
Select settings for barring of outgoing calls, go to 2b.

2a - Select settings for barring of incoming calls

Highlight All Calls or Incoming If Roaming below Block Incoming Calls and press the Navigation key.

If you select Incoming If Roaming, you can't receive incoming calls when you take your phone abroad. Incoming calls will be rejected by the network and the call won't go through.

Scroll to Enable and press the Navigation key.

If you select Incoming If Roaming, you can't receive incoming calls when you take your phone abroad. Incoming calls will be rejected by the network and the call won't go through.

2b - Select settings for barring of outgoing calls

Highlight All Calls, International Calls or Int'l Not On Home Network below Block Outgoing Calls and press the Navigation key.

If you select Int'l Not On Home Network, no international calls can be made, but you can still call home when you're abroad.

Select setting

Key in your barring password (default is 0000) and press the Navigation key.

Exit

Press Disconnect to return to standby mode.

Scroll to Options and press the Navigation key.
Scroll to Call Blocking and press the Navigation key.
