Cause 2 of 3: The message centre number is incorrect

The message centre ensures that your text message is sent to the recipient. If the message centre number is incorrect, you can't send text messages.

Solution: Enter the correct message centre number.

Find "Options"

Press Text Messages.

Press the Menu key.

Select validity period

Press Validity Period.

Press Max.

Select message type

Press Sent As.

Press Text.

Save the message centre number

Press Service Centre and key in +61415011501

Select data bearer

Press Network to Send Over.

Select data bearer

Press Circuit Switched.

Save settings

Press the Menu key.

Save settings

Press Save.

Return to the home screen

Press Disconnect to return to the home screen.

1 Find "Options"

Press Text Messages.
Press the Menu key.
Press Options.

2 Select validity period

Press Validity Period.
Press Max.

3 Select message type

Press Sent As.
Press Text.

4 Save the message centre number

Press Service Centre and key in +61415011501

5 Select data bearer

Press Network to Send Over.
Press Circuit Switched.

6 Save settings

Press the Menu key.
Press Save.

7 Return to the home screen

Press Disconnect to return to the home screen.
