Find "Input Languages"
Slide your finger down the display starting from the top edge of your phone.
Press Settings.
Press Settings.
Press Language and Input.
Press Input Languages.
Add writing language
Press the indicator next to "Language detection" until the function is turned off.
The selected language determines which characters are available and the language used for word suggestion.
Press Add/Remove Languages.
The selected language determines which characters are available and the language used for word suggestion.
Press the box next to the required language until the language is selected.

Press Save.

Press Prediction and Correction.
When you turn on word suggestion, words based on the letters you've keyed in are displayed.
Press the indicator next to "Show Predictions" until the function is turned on.

How to write text
The following steps require that you're writing text and that the keypad is visible.
Write text
Press and hold the language icon.
Slide your finger to the required language to select a writing language.
Press the letter keys to key in the required word.
A number of words based on the letters you've keyed in are displayed.
A number of words based on the letters you've keyed in are displayed.
Press and drag the required word upwards to insert it.
Write numbers and symbols
Press ?123.
Press the required number or the required symbol.
Press &% to see more symbols.
Press ABC to return to text input.
