Turn use of PIN on or off - BlackBerry Z30

The PIN protects your SIM from unauthorised use if your phone should get stolen. If use of PIN is turned on, it needs to be keyed in when you turn on your phone.

Find "SIM Card"

Slide your finger down the display starting from the top edge of your phone.
Press Settings.

Press Security and Privacy.

Press SIM Card.

Turn use of PIN on or off

Press the indicator next to "SIM Card PIN Lock" to turn the function on or off.

If an incorrect PIN is entered three times in a row, your SIM will be blocked. To unblock your SIM, you'll need to key in your PUK. The PUK can be obtained by contacting customer services. Please note: If the wrong PUK is entered ten times in a row, your SIM will be blocked permanently. In this case, you need a new SIM from Vodafone.

Key in your PIN and press OK.

Return to the home screen

Slide your finger up the display starting from the bottom edge of your phone to return to the home screen.

Find "SIM Card"

Slide your finger down the display starting from the top edge of your phone.
Press Settings.
Press Security and Privacy.
Press SIM Card.
