I can't send and receive text messages - BlackBerry Z30

Cause 1 of 3: There's an error at the receiving end

If you have problems sending text messages to a specific number, the error may be at the receiving end.

Solution: Send a text message to another recipient to check if the error is at the receiving end.

Find "Text Messages"

Slide your finger left across the display to open the main menu.
Press Text Messages.

Write text message

Press Compose.

Select recipient

Key in the first letters of the required contact.
Matching contacts are displayed.
Press the required contact.

Step 4 of 6

Write the text

Press Enter a message.
Write the text for your text message.

Send text message

Press Send when you've written your text message.

Return to the home screen

Slide your finger up the display starting from the bottom edge of your phone to return to the home screen.

1 Find "Text Messages"

Slide your finger left across the display to open the main menu.
Press Text Messages.

2 Write text message

Press Compose.

3 Select recipient

Key in the first letters of the required contact.
Matching contacts are displayed.
Press the required contact.

4 Write the text

Press Enter a message.
Write the text for your text message.

5 Send text message

Press Send when you've written your text message.

6 Return to the home screen

Slide your finger up the display starting from the bottom edge of your phone to return to the home screen.
