I can't send and receive text messages - HTC Desire 310

Cause 2 of 3: The message centre number is incorrect

The message centre ensures that your text message is sent to the recipient. If the message centre number is incorrect, you can't send text messages.

Solution: Enter the correct message centre number.

Find "SMS Service Centre"

Press the message icon.

Find "SMS Service Centre"

Press the menu icon.

Step 3 of 7

Find "SMS Service Centre"

Press Settings.

Find "SMS Service Centre"

Press Text Message (SMS).

Press SMS Service Centre.

Save the message centre number

Key in +61415011501 and press OK.

Return to the home screen

Press the home icon to return to the home screen.

1 Find "SMS Service Centre"

Press the message icon.
Press the menu icon.
Press Settings.
Press Text Message (SMS).
Press SMS Service Centre.

2 Save the message centre number

Key in +61415011501 and press OK.

3 Return to the home screen

Press the home icon to return to the home screen.
