Use map functions in Google Maps - HTC One X

Google Maps is a GPS application you can use to navigate from one location to another. You can change between list view and street view and you can use Google Maps to find companies. You can use Google Maps using an application on your phone. Follow these instructions to use Google Maps.
You need to set up your phone for internet to use this function. Click here for information on how to set up your phone for internet.

If you don't want to use Google Maps using an application on your phone, you can use your phone's browser: open the browser and connect to http://maps.google.com.

Please note that when you use Google Maps, data charges will apply. Check your price plan for applicable charges.

Press the menu icon.

Press the search icon.
Key in the required destination.
Results matching what you key in are displayed.

You can also key in points of interest and contacts from the phone book.

Save favourite destination

Press the information field above the destination.

Press the favourite icon (a star) at the top of the display.

Drag two fingers together or apart to zoom in or out.

Press the menu icon.

Exit

Press the Home key to return to standby mode.

Press the Return key to return to map view.

Press the information field above the destination.
Press Directions.
Press the required mode of transportation.
Press GET DIRECTIONS.

Press DIRECTIONS LIST.
