I can't start my Huawei GR5 2017 Android 6.0

Cause 5 of 7: The phone lock code is turned on

When the phone lock code is turned on, it needs to be keyed in every time you turn on your phone.

Solution: Turn off phone lock code.

Step 1 of 13

Find "Fingerprint management"

Press Settings.

Find "Fingerprint management"

Press Fingerprint ID.

Find "Fingerprint management"

Press Fingerprint management.

Step 4 of 13

Create phone lock code using a fingerprint

Press the required lock type and follow the instructions on the screen to create an additional phone lock code.

Create phone lock code using a fingerprint

Press New fingerprint and follow the instructions on the screen to create the phone lock code using your fingerprint.

Step 6 of 13

Create phone lock code using a fingerprint

Press OK.

Step 7 of 13

Return to the home screen

Press the Home key to return to the home screen.

Turn off use of phone lock code

Press Settings.

Turn off use of phone lock code

Press Screen lock & passwords.

Press Password and key in the current phone lock code.

Press None.

Press Remove.

Return to the home screen

Press the Home key to return to the home screen.

1 Find "Fingerprint management"

Press Settings.

Press Fingerprint ID.

Press Fingerprint management.

2 Create phone lock code using a fingerprint

Press the required lock type and follow the instructions on the screen to create an additional phone lock code.

Press New fingerprint and follow the instructions on the screen to create the phone lock code using your fingerprint.

Press OK.

3 Return to the home screen

Press the Home key to return to the home screen.

4 Turn off use of phone lock code

Press Settings.

Press Screen lock & passwords.

Press Password and key in the current phone lock code.

Press None.

Press Remove.

5 Return to the home screen

Press the Home key to return to the home screen.
