I can't start my Motorola Moto E14 Android 14 (Go edition)

Cause 1 of 7: The phone lock code is turned on

When the phone lock code is turned on, it needs to be keyed in every time you turn on your phone.

Solution: Turn off phone lock code.

Step 1 of 14

Find "Device unlock"

Slide two fingers downwards starting from the top of the screen.

Find "Device unlock"

Press the settings icon.

Find "Device unlock"

Press Security & privacy.

Find "Device unlock"

Press Device unlock.

Create phone lock code using a pattern

Press Screen lock.

Create phone lock code using a pattern

Press the required phone lock code.

Create phone lock code using a pattern

Slide your finger across the screen to connect at least four points and press Next.

Create phone lock code using a pattern

Repeat the selected phone lock code and press Confirm.

Press the required setting.

Press Done.

Turn off use of phone lock code

Press Screen lock and key in the phone lock code you created earlier.

Turn off use of phone lock code

Press None.

Turn off use of phone lock code

Press Delete.

Return to the home screen

Press the Home key to return to the home screen.

2 Create phone lock code using a pattern

Press Screen lock.
Press the required phone lock code.
Slide your finger across the screen to connect at least four points and press Next.
Repeat the selected phone lock code and press Confirm.
Press the required setting.
Press Done.

3 Turn off use of phone lock code

Press Screen lock and key in the phone lock code you created earlier.
Press None.
Press Delete.

4 Return to the home screen

Press the Home key to return to the home screen.
