Back up phone memory - Nokia N700

Before updating your phone's software, it's recommended that you back up the phone memory to ensure that no data is lost. It can also be useful to back up the phone memory regularly to ensure that no data is lost in case of defects and crashes. Follow these instructions to back up the phone memory.
Before you can back up the phone memory, you need to insert a memory card. Click here for information on how to insert a memory card into your phone.

Find "Backup and restore"

Press the Menu key.

Press File manager.

Press Backup and restore.

Select data types

Press Backup contents.

Press All or the required data types.

When the box next to a data type is ticked (V), it's selected.

Press OK.

Back up phone memory

Press the menu icon.

Press Back up now.
Your phone is backed up.

Exit

Press the Menu key to return to standby mode.

Find "Backup and restore"

Press the Menu key.
Press File manager.
Press Backup and restore.

Select data types

Press Backup contents.
Press All or the required data types.
When the box next to a data type is ticked (V), it's selected.
Press OK.

Back up phone memory

Press the menu icon.
Press Back up now.
Your phone is backed up.

Exit

Press the Menu key to return to standby mode.
