Guide for the Nokia N9 - Turn use of phone lock code on or off

Find "Autolock"

Press Settings.

Find "Autolock"

Press Security.

Step 3 of 9

Find "Autolock"

Press Device lock.

Step 4 of 9

Find "Autolock"

Press Autolock.

Step 5 of 9

Choose option

Choose one of the following options:
Turn on use of phone lock code, go to 2a.
Turn off use of phone lock code, go to 2b.

2a - Turn on use of phone lock code

If required, press OK to create a new phone lock code.
Follow the instructions on the display to create the phone lock code.

Step 7 of 9

2a - Turn on use of phone lock code

Press No delay or the required period to turn on use of phone lock code.

Step 8 of 9

2b - Turn off use of phone lock code

Press Off to turn off use of phone lock code.

Step 9 of 9

Exit

Slide your finger across the display to return to standby mode.

Find "Autolock"

Press Settings.

Press Security.

Press Device lock.

Press Autolock.

Choose option

Choose one of the following options:
Turn on use of phone lock code, go to 2a.
Turn off use of phone lock code, go to 2b.

2a - Turn on use of phone lock code

If required, press OK to create a new phone lock code.
Follow the instructions on the display to create the phone lock code.

Press No delay or the required period to turn on use of phone lock code.

2b - Turn off use of phone lock code

Press Off to turn off use of phone lock code.

Exit

Slide your finger across the display to return to standby mode.
