Cause 9 of 10: The message centre number is incorrect

The message centre ensures that your text message is sent to the recipient. If the message centre number is incorrect, you can't send text messages.

Solution: Enter the correct message centre number.

Press Apps.

Press Messaging.

Press the menu icon.

Press Settings.

Turn request for delivery reports on or off

Press Delivery reports below Text message (SMS) settings to turn the function on or off.

Turn request for delivery reports on or off

When the box next to the menu item is ticked (V), the function is turned on.

Save the message centre number

Press Message centre.

Save the message centre number

Key in +61415011501 and press OK.

Turn off reply path

Press Reply path to turn off the function.
When the box next to the menu item is empty, the function is turned off.

Exit

Press the home icon to return to standby mode.

2 Turn request for delivery reports on or off

Press Delivery reports below Text message (SMS) settings to turn the function on or off.
When the box next to the menu item is ticked (V), the function is turned on.

3 Save the message centre number

Press Message centre.
Key in +61415011501 and press OK.

4 Turn off reply path

Press Reply path to turn off the function.
When the box next to the menu item is empty, the function is turned off.

5 Exit

Press the home icon to return to standby mode.
