Use video recorder - Samsung Galaxy Tab

Follow these instructions to use the video recorder.

Turn on the video recorder

Press Applications.

Press Camera.

Turn on the video recorder

If the camera is turned on:
Drag the indicator to the video recorder icon.

Record video clip

To turn on video light:
Press the video light icon.

Record video clip

Press On.

Record video clip

Press the record icon to start the video recorder.

Record video clip

Press the stop icon to stop the video recorder.
The video clip is automatically saved.

Choose option

You have a number of other options when recording video clips using your device's video recorder.
Choose one of the following options:
Select video clip length, go to 3a.
Select video quality, go to 3b.
Select memory, go to 3c.
Turn audio recording on or off, go to 3d.

3a - Select video clip length

Press the video length icon.

Limit for MMS enables you to insert the video clip in a picture message.

Press Normal or Limit for MMS.

3b - Select video quality

Press the settings icon.

Press Video quality.

Press Fine or Normal.

If required, press the Return key to return to the video recorder.

Press the settings icon.

If required, press the Return key to return to the video recorder.

3d - Turn audio recording on or off

Press the settings icon.

Press Audio recording to turn audio recording on or off.

When the box next to the menu item is ticked (V), audio recording is turned on.

If required, press the Return key to return to the video recorder.

Exit

Press the Home key to return to standby mode.

Turn on the video recorder

Press Camera.
If the camera is turned on:
Drag the indicator to the video recorder icon.

Record video clip

To turn on video light:
Press the video light icon.
Press On.
Press the record icon to start the video recorder.
Press the stop icon to stop the video recorder.
The video clip is automatically saved.

3a - Select video clip length

Press the video length icon.

Press the settings icon.
Press Video quality.
Press Fine or Normal.
If required, press the Return key to return to the video recorder.

Press the settings icon.

Press the Setup tab.

If required, press the Return key to return to the video recorder.

3d - Turn audio recording on or off

Press the settings icon.
Press the Setup tab.
Press Audio recording to turn audio recording on or off.
When the box next to the menu item is ticked (V), audio recording is turned on.
If required, press the Return key to return to the video recorder.

Exit

Press the Home key to return to standby mode.
