Turn use of PIN on or off - Samsung GT-E1195

The PIN protects your SIM from unauthorised use. If use of PIN is turned on, it needs to be keyed in when you turn on your phone. Follow these instructions to turn use of PIN on or off.

Find "PIN lock"

Press the Navigation key.

Scroll to Settings and press the Navigation key.

Scroll to Security and press the Navigation key.

Scroll to PIN lock and press the Navigation key.

Turn use of PIN on or off

Highlight On or Off and press the Navigation key.

If an incorrect PIN is entered three times in a row, your SIM will be blocked. To unblock your SIM, you'll need to key in your PUK.

Please note:
If the wrong PUK is entered ten times in a row, your SIM will be blocked permanently. In this case, you need a new SIM from Vodafone.

Key in your PIN and press the Navigation key.

If an incorrect PIN is entered three times in a row, your SIM will be blocked. To unblock your SIM, you'll need to key in your PUK.

Please note:
If the wrong PUK is entered ten times in a row, your SIM will be blocked permanently. In this case, you need a new SIM from Vodafone.
Step 7 of 7

Exit

Press Disconnect to return to standby mode.

Find "PIN lock"

Press the Navigation key.
Scroll to Settings and press the Navigation key.
Scroll to Security and press the Navigation key.
Scroll to PIN lock and press the Navigation key.
