I can't start my Sony Xperia XZ Android 6.0

Cause 5 of 7: The phone lock code is turned on

When the phone lock code is turned on, it needs to be keyed in every time you turn on your phone.

Solution: Turn off phone lock code.

Step 1 of 12

Find "Fingerprint Manager"

Slide two fingers downwards starting from the top the screen.

Find "Fingerprint Manager"

Press the settings icon.

Find "Fingerprint Manager"

Press Lock screen & security.

Step 4 of 12

Find "Fingerprint Manager"

Press Fingerprint Manager.

Add fingerprint

Press the required setting.

Add fingerprint

Press DONE and follow the instructions on the screen to create an additional phone lock code.

Add fingerprint

Press NEXT and follow the instructions on the screen to add your fingerprint.

Add fingerprint

Press DONE.

Turn off use of phone lock code

Press Screen lock and key in the current phone lock code.

Turn off use of phone lock code

Press None.

Turn off use of phone lock code

Press YES, REMOVE.

Return to the home screen

Press the Home key to return to the home screen.

1 Find "Fingerprint Manager"

Slide two fingers downwards starting from the top the screen.
Press the settings icon.
Press Lock screen & security.
Press Fingerprint Manager.

2 Add fingerprint

Press the required setting.
Press DONE and follow the instructions on the screen to create an additional phone lock code.
Press NEXT and follow the instructions on the screen to add your fingerprint.
Press DONE.

3 Turn off use of phone lock code

Press Screen lock and key in the current phone lock code.
Press None.
Press YES, REMOVE.

4 Return to the home screen

Press the Home key to return to the home screen.
