I can't start my HTC 10 Android 6.0

Cause 5 of 7: The phone lock code is turned on

When the phone lock code is turned on, it needs to be keyed in every time you turn on your phone.

Solution: Turn off phone lock code.

Step 1 of 11

Find "Screen lock"

Slide your finger downwards starting from the top of the screen.

Find "Screen lock"

Press the settings icon.

Find "Screen lock"

Press Security.

Find "Screen lock"

Press Fingerprint scanner. If you haven't previously selected a phone lock code, key in a code of your own choice twice.

Add fingerprint

Press Add fingerprint.

Add fingerprint

Press START and follow the instructions on the screen to add your fingerprint.

Add fingerprint

Press DONE.

Turn off use of phone lock code

Press Screen lock and key in the current phone lock code.

Turn off use of phone lock code

Press None.

Turn off use of phone lock code

Press YES, REMOVE.

Return to the home screen

Press the Home key to return to the home screen.

1 Find "Screen lock"

2 Add fingerprint

Press Add fingerprint.
Press START and follow the instructions on the screen to add your fingerprint.

3 Turn off use of phone lock code

Press Screen lock and key in the current phone lock code.
Press None.
Press YES, REMOVE.

4 Return to the home screen

Press the Home key to return to the home screen.
