The phone lock code protects the contents of your phone from unauthorised use. If the phone lock code is turned on, it needs to be keyed in when you turn on your phone. Follow these instructions to change the phone lock code.
You need to turn on use of phone lock code before you can change it. Click here for information on how to turn on use of phone lock code.

Find "change password"

Slide your finger left on the display.
Press Settings.

Press lock screen.

Change phone lock code

Press the field below Current password and key in the current phone lock code.

Change phone lock code

Press the field below New password and key in a new phone lock code.

Change phone lock code

Press the field below Confirm password and key in the new phone lock code.

Step 7 of 8

Change phone lock code

Press done.

Step 8 of 8

Exit

Press the Home key to return to standby mode.
