Set up your phone for picture messaging - Nokia Lumia 925

A picture message is a message which can contain pictures and other media files and can be sent to other mobile phones and email addresses. You can send and receive picture messages as soon as you've inserted your SIM. If this isn't the case, you can set up your phone for picture messaging manually.

Find "access point"

Slide your finger left across the display to open the main menu.
Press Settings.

Please note that your phone is set up for picture messaging and internet at the same time.

Press add.

Press the field below "Connection name" and key in Vodafone MMS + Internet

Press the field below "Data type".

Press default.

Enter APN for internet

Press the field below "Access point name" and key in live.vodafone.com

Press the field below "Authentication type".

Press the field below "Proxy address" and key in 10.202.2.60

Press the field below "Proxy port" and key in 8080

Press the field below "MMSC address" and key in http://pxt.vodafone.net.au/pxtsend

Press the field below "Authentication type".

Save and activate data connection

Press the confirm icon.

Return to the home screen

Press the Home key to return to the home screen.

Enter port for picture messaging

Press the field below "Proxy port" and key in 8080

Enter picture messaging server

Press the field below "MMSC address" and key in http://pxt.vodafone.net.au/pxtsend

Select authentication type for picture messaging

Press the field below "Authentication type".
Press PAP.

Save and activate data connection

Press the confirm icon.
Press the data connection to activate it.

Return to the home screen

Press the Home key to return to the home screen.
