In flight mode the connection to your network is turned off, so your device can’t cause any interference with sensitive equipment in a plane or a hospital. You can still use your device when flight mode is turned on, but you can’t send text messages or make calls. Follow these instructions to turn flight mode on or off.

Press and hold On/Off until a pop-up menu is displayed.

Press Flight mode.

Press OK.
Depending on the current setting, flight mode is turned on or off.
