A Bluetooth device can't connect to my tablet - Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0

Cause 3 of 4: Bluetooth visibility isn't turned on on your tablet

Bluetooth visibility needs to be turned on on your tablet. Otherwise the other Bluetooth device can't find your tablet.

Solution: Turn on Bluetooth visibility.

Find "Bluetooth"

Press the menu icon.

Press Settings.

Find "Bluetooth"

Press Bluetooth.

Turn on Bluetooth

Press the field below Bluetooth to select ON.

Choose option

Choose one of the following options:
Enter Bluetooth name, go to 3a.
Turn Bluetooth visibility on or off, go to 3b.
Select time interval for Bluetooth visibility, go to 3c.

Press the settings icon.

Press Device name.

Key in the required name and press OK.

3b - Turn Bluetooth visibility on or off

Press your device to turn Bluetooth visibility on or off.

When the box next to your device is ticked (V), the function is turned on.

3c - Select time interval for Bluetooth visibility

Press the settings icon.

Press Visible time-out.

Press Never time out or the required setting.

Exit

Press the home icon to return to standby mode.

1 Find "Bluetooth"

Press the menu icon.
Press Settings.
Press Bluetooth.

2 Turn on Bluetooth

Press the field below Bluetooth to select ON.

3 Choose option

Choose one of the following options:
Enter Bluetooth name, go to 3a.
Turn Bluetooth visibility on or off, go to 3b.
Select time interval for Bluetooth visibility, go to 3c.

4 3a - Enter Bluetooth name

Press the settings icon.
Press Device name.
Key in the required name and press OK.

5 3b - Turn Bluetooth visibility on or off

Press your device to turn Bluetooth visibility on or off.
When the box next to your device is ticked (V), the function is turned on.

6 3c - Select time interval for Bluetooth visibility

Press the settings icon.
Press Visible time-out.
Press Never time out or the required setting.

7 Exit

Press the home icon to return to standby mode.
